Have you ever downloaded a game to your phone only to have it immediately overheat and melt all over your clothes?

Well, I sure haven't (tell me in the comments if you have), but playing Direct Ascent on my phone sure came pretty close! Therefore, I decided 0.6.1 would be the Optimization Update, bringing you the ability to have your frames per second increased tenfold while keeping gameplay.

Also, polish, bug fixes, and quality of life features in this update should prevent you, the player, from intentionally overheating your phone and melting it all over your clothes.

All in all, I'd say that's pretty good.

Anyway, these anti-phone-melting-and-the-melting-phone-splatters-all-over-your-clothes set of features, bug fixes and optimizations will be coming to you tomorrow, August 9th.
